Looking for an unforgettable alpaca experience in Ireland? Our Full Alpaca Experience is the perfect choice! This unique, immersive experience combines the best parts of our Meet and Greet and Alpaca Walk and adds something extra special.

Start your journey with a warm welcome from Barbara, Mike, and our friendly dog, Yuki. After an introduction to the alpacas, you’ll get to meet and interact with them in the paddock, learning how to approach, cuddle, and bond with these gentle creatures. You’ll also get the chance to meet two unique alpaca breeds: the common Huacaya and the rare Suri—one of the few herds of Suri alpacas in Ireland!

Next, embark on a relaxing alpaca walk around the farm, where you’ll spend time with your alpaca, feeding and walking them, while taking in the scenic views and enjoying the fresh air. Along the way, our guides will share fascinating insights about alpaca behavior, their care, and their wool.

After your walk, head inside where we’ll give you a demonstration of how we process the alpacas’ wool. Learn about the journey of alpaca fibre from raw material to beautifully spun yarn. We’ll show you how we use traditional spinning wheels, and you’ll even have the chance to try it for yourself!

This is a truly hands-on experience that lets you connect with the animals, explore the process behind their wool, and make unforgettable memories with family and friends.

    AGE RESTRICTIONS

    Unfortunately under 6’s cannot join the walking experience however we can offer you to spend the time at the farm with all the animals.

    All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

    Children aged 12+ and over will be able to walk an alpaca on their own.

    Children aged 6 – 11 will walk alongside an adult in tandem with a second lead rope on their alpaca. Your child may be allowed to take the main lead at the discretion of the group leader when we’re in a safe and calm situation to do so. However you must stay near the child if they are leading and be ready to take over if needed.

    WHAT’S INCLUDED

    Upon arrival, Barbara, Mike, and our friendly dog Yuki will warmly welcome you. We’ll introduce you to our alpacas in the paddock and teach you how to approach, cuddle, and hug them.

    After the trek, Barbara will demonstrate how we hand-make alpaca wool, from raw material to spinning wheel.

    Free parking at the farm.
