BOOKING IS ESSENTIALHave more questions? Feel free to contact us directly at info@flyingalpaca.com. We’re happy to help!
Before visiting the farm

Yes, all visits must be pre-booked to ensure a personalized experience for you and our alpacas.

Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended.

Absolutely! Our experiences are family-friendly and perfect for children.

Yes, feeding our alpacas is a fun part of your visit! Feed is provided during the session.

Our experiences, except for the Lovers’ Experience, are shared with small groups. However, any experience can be made private for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance if you’d like to enjoy your visit exclusively!

We conduct tours in English, French, and Italian, ensuring a warm welcome for international guests.

While much of the farm is accessible, some areas have uneven terrain. Contact us ahead of time for assistance.

For the safety of the alpacas, we cannot allow dogs on the farm.

Our tours proceed in most weather conditions, so bring a raincoat! Severe weather may lead to rescheduling.

Yes! Our alpaca shop offers unique, handmade alpaca wool items.

Unfortunately, we don’t have restrooms on-site. We recommend using the public facilities in Kilkee (5 minutes by car) or Kilrush (10 minutes by car) before arriving at the farm.

Experiences vary in length. Check your specific booking details for duration.

Definitely! Our alpacas are very photogenic, so bring your camera.

Have more questions? Feel free to contact us directly at info@flyingalpaca.com. We’re happy to help! Children under 8 cannot participate in the treks, including in pushchairs or carriers. Kids aged 8 to 11 are welcome but must share the lead of an alpaca with one accompanying adult (ticket required for both). For younger children (7 and under), our Alpaca Meet and Greet Experience is a great alternative!

The entire trek experience lasts about 1 hours, with 40 minutes dedicated to walking approximately 1 km. Alpacas are slow and steady walkers when haltered, making the trek relaxed and suitable for children aged 8 and up. For guests with mobility challenges, please contact us directly or the Meet and Greet Alpaca Experience offers a more accessible option.

Alpacas are social animals and need to walk in pairs or more. If you are booking for just one person, we charge for two slots to ensure your alpaca can walk alongside another. If you’d prefer to join a group, you’re welcome to book a session that already has other participants. This way, you can still enjoy the experience without walking alone!
